The Heavy Duty Quick Adaptable Confined Space Barrier is also available with a Lock-Out-Tag-Out system. This lock-out-tag-out system is installed through the arms of the heavy duty quick adaptable confined space barrier and secures the confined space barrier to the manhole opening with a 3,6 meter steel wire. A solid lock ensures that the Heavy Duty Quick Adaptable Confined Space Barrier is kept in its place and is not tampered with while the manhole opening is temporary open. No one is allowed to enter and that is visible and very clear. This system will prevent deadly accidents by accidental entry during maintenance and installation works.

What is a Confined Space?
These spaces are not designed for people but are used by them to conduct certain work. A confined space should also not be accessed all the time and usually has limited or restricted entry and exit. Confined spaces can be tanks, storage bins, vessels, pits and manhole entry to name just a few examples. Some of these spaces can contain a hazardous atmosphere or has converging walls for example.
